About St John of Beverley, Whatton

St John of Beverley Church has been the centre of the village since the 12th century.  It is a Grade II* listed building extensively redeveloped in the 14th and 19th centuries.  Archbishop Thomas Cranmer worshipped here as a boy and our Lady Chapel is dedicated to him.  We hold a regular BCP Holy Communion service at 9am on the first Sunday of each month.  We also hold additional services for Christmas, Easter and Harvest Festival which are advertised in the Cranmer Group Newsletter, the Cranmer Group Facebook page and in the blog section of this website.
