NEW! Cranmer Kids

We’re trying something new this weekend, for the younger members of our church family, who might normally be at Café Church.

Here on our Cranmer Kids Pinterest page are some great Palm Sunday ideas for you to try at home: an animation of the story, some worship, and lots of Palm Sunday craft – including how to make your very own Palm Sundae 🙂

We hope that this is the first of many Pinterest pages like this – look out for more over the coming weeks! And do please feel free to pass on the link to others – it’s great to share resources, especially at times like this.

Sunday Sermon – April 5th

Our latest sermon and prayers, for Palm Sunday, are now available on our podcast page. Do listen to them there!

The prayers, readings and sermon are given by Rev. Tim Chambers, who is delighted that he’s now officially our Vicar, as opposed to ‘Vicar Designate’, after being licensed virtually by Bishop Paul in a videoconference on Friday, April 3rd. Many of our Church Wardens were also present online to witness the ceremony, and welcome Tim to the Benefice. A Benefice-wide installation service for Tim will be arranged, once the current restrictions are lifted.

If you’d prefer to read rather than listen to the podcast, the sermon transcript, readings and prayers can be downloaded here:

I can also be contacted, should you wish to get in touch with me, at, or on 07946 526569.

Best wishes, and God bless,

Rev. Tim Chambers

Start the Day with Bishop Paul and Sarah!

Every morning between now and Easter Day, our Bishop, Paul Williams, will upload to YouTube a short message, including a Psalm, a short thought and a prayer. Each message from Bishop Paul and his wife, Sarah, will be available to watch live at 9AM on the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham’s YouTube channel, or for you to catch later:

Do take advantage of this excellent way of starting your day with the scriptures and in prayer – or any time you need a spiritual boost!
